Guardian Outdoors welcomes volunteers of all sorts.  Benefits of being a volunteer, besides the benefit of knowing you make a difference in our applicants lives, is having some fun on our trips as well while working to provide our applicants with the best experience possible.

Before Beginning the Application, here are a descriptions of the jobs listed to best find where you can help!

Job Descriptions

Helping with Fishing Excursions-Come along on the boat or land and help bait hooks, Cast Rods, Assist with other boat and fishing operations.

White Water Raft Guide-Experience with guiding a White Water Raft and can help guide a boat full of applicants on various rivers

White Water Raft Trip Support-Come along (Space Permitted) on rafting trips and assist with paddling, instructions, carrying gear, raft setup, etc.  No experience required

White Water Raft Trip Safety Support-Assist with following applicants in another vessel (Kayak or Inflatable) and provide safety support for trips.  Swift Water Rescue Training and/or knowledge preferred

Provide Fishing Excursions with Boats-Good if you are a boat owner and a fisherman and want to assist with trips taking applicants out on your boat and helping them get on fish!  Guardian Outdoors will do it's best to reimburse expenses (funds dependent)

Help with Fundraising Opportunities-Help come up with and implement fundraising opportunities to benefit Guardian Outdoors

Help with Events-Help setup and man event booths at various locations

Recruiting Applicants-Help spreading the word of Guardian Outdoors and getting applicants to sign up for trips!
